In today’s episode, Kim and Kelly talk about…
Why we need to give up our “good enough” attitudes about our lives. It’s important to pursue the BEST person we can be, the best marriage we can have, and the most rewarding career out there.
Strategies you can use to visualize a better life. Ask yourself, “How do I want to feel? How do I want to feel when I wake up in the morning?”
Why it’s important to acknowledge your feelings and accept them. Remember—we cannot have happiness without sadness.
“...’good enough’ is actually a problem. I think that ‘good enough’ is putting a Band-Aid on things that we need to deal with. And when we pull that stupid Band-Aid off, and it hurts like hell.” - Kelly Travis
Kelly’s top tips for letting go of “good enough”:
Recognize when you’re unhappy—and admit it. Women often struggle to admit when they aren’t happy, but it’s an important first step to take.
Understand that you can be grateful for what you have, but also want more from life!
Allow yourself to dream, without any restriction, about what your ideal life looks like. And then follow that dream.
