Jill Krzyzanowicz is an author, accomplished educator, and personal empowerment mentor who is currently enrolled in my 90 Day Coaching program. Through our conversations, we’ve discussed how Jill embodies the idea of “stepping into the Arena of Bigness.” From growing up in a chaotic house filled with violence, battling cancer, multiple weight-loss surgeries, and a newly sober lifestyle, Jill explains how within every adversity lies a silver living.
She shares her personal story of being raised by a mother who couldn’t love, and how she was able to eventually forgive her mother and come to understand her soul and journey. Jill is also simultaneously aware that her mother is exactly why she is the woman, mother, speaker, and author she is today.
What’s in the episode:
- The trauma of Jill’s childhood and how it taught her self-love and self-loyalty.
- The story of Jill’s spiritual awakening, which gave her a new perspective on the lingering trauma from her mother.
- How she used forgiveness to heal her own life.
- Why Jill chose not to visit her mother on her deathbed.
- How she stays grounded in her own boundaries, beliefs, and self-respect while navigating hard things.
“My third-grade teacher, Mr. Messina, was not all about academics. He was all about relationships and that changed my life…” – Jill Krzyzanowicz
