What's happenin' over here.
I've been traveling across the country, speaking on stages, and my heart is full. I love being able to inspire others to create happiness habits that lead to significant shifts in their lives.

I traveled to New York to speak to the Urban Superintendents Assoc. of America. I landed this gig because of a wonderful man I met when I first began providing professional development. His name is Dr. John Settle and he and his wife are pictured above.
He's a retired superintendent and former education director. He saw something in me that first year when I was providing professional development, and he never hesitated to compliment my speaking ability. That meant the world to me because I was in year one of my business and definitely doubted myself.
He pitched my name a few years ago to this conference's organizers, and I had the honor of keynoting for them. I also met Dr. Settle's lovely wife, Debbie. I'm always grateful for those who came into my life early in my career and helped me find my way.

Above is a pic of a few school leaders I met when I traveled to Naples, Florida, and spoke to over 500 school leaders on The Science of Happiness: Cultivating Positivity and Resiliency.
The energy before I stepped on stage was . They had the faculty participating in theme-based parades, singing, dancing, and having so much fun. I met some of the nicest people who invited me on a boat ride the next time I'm there. I'm totally in on that!
It's such an honor for me to be asked to speak to others and one that I don't take lightly.
Books I'm reading...
The Oysterville Sewing Circle
by Susan Wiggs
It's a fiction-based story centered around a group of women who come together to end domestic violence they have endured while cultivating their friendships with one another. And of course, there's a great love story embedded in it.
The Big Leap
This is one of my fav all-time books. It's about overcoming the barriers that get in the way of our happiness and ability to achieve great things.
