October Newsletter

By Kim Strobel

October 25, 2021

Welcome to the new edition of the Kim Strobel Monthly Newsletter!

Every month you’ll receive a high-vibe newsletter from me sharing my favorite things, products I'm loving, and a recap of what's going on in my life.

I want this to be a way to connect with you at a deeper level and not only give you a closer look at what’s going on in my life, but also a direct way to share all the new information I am learning each month.

Let’s get started!

What's new in my life?If you’ve been following me on the ‘gram, you would have seen that my hubby and I (and my momma) snuck away to Gulf Shores, Alabama, for a week.  Although it was quite rainy, we soaked up some days on the beach, enjoyed visiting the non-local dives, and we fished. Fishing is something I used to do with our kids when they were little, but I forgot how much I, too, enjoyed it.  🐠 🐠 🐠 And now I’ve been introduced to ocean fishing, which is even more fun. Something about dipping your toes in the sand and reeling in a Red Fish lights me up. And seeing my hubby in the water holding a fishing pole just does somethin' for me.  🤣🤣🤣

Products I'm loving and the following affiliate links. While in Gulf Shores, I enjoyed spending time with my Aunt and Uncle, who recently retired and relocated there. My aunt has the most divine beach towels that I fell in love with. They are Turkish Beach towels that are light and in the most divine colors.  I ordered three... aqua, yellow, and pink.

I've not been a good steward when it comes to taking care of my face...you know, using moisturizers, eye cream, serums, etc. But recently, I was introduced to GlyMed Ultra Hydro Gel and their moisture cream. I get the ones that are "balanced" because I have normal skin, but I'm faithfully using these products day and night!

And lastly, someone in our super-awesome She Finds Joy Facebook Group told me about this awesome hot tea brand, Plum Deluxe. I love my morning cups of tea while writing out my daily gratitudes and affirmations. Here’s a screenshot of what I ordered, and they are sooooooo yummy!

Books I have recently read...

Quote I'm Digging!

"You don't get what you want in life. You get who you are."- Les Brown

We can “want” things in life, but if we aren’t aligned and able to experience high-vibe emotions a lot of the time, we simply won’t get them. Let me give you an example.

Let’s say that I want to earn and have more money. Or I want a new car, a bigger home, or to hire a housekeeper. But I spend most of my time talking about my “lack of” money.

I talk about how big my bills are, how there’s never enough, how I can’t afford a nice vacation, and I complain all the time about money and my lack thereof.

Well, guess what?

I will not be attracting money when I’m vibrating at that low, scarcity mindset state.

You can become a powerful creator and manifestor of your life, but it means you have to work on your thoughts that then change your emotions which then change your behaviors, that then effect your actions, which lastly become your reality.

In Case You Missed The Last Few Podcast Episodes

Season 6 of She Finds Joy has been crazy-fun. I want to make sure you are not missing out on any of these amazing conversations with authors, empowerment coaches, and me.

On September 22nd, I had the opportunity to chat with author and renegade, Andrea Owen about How to Make Some Noise: Speak Your Mind & Own Your Strength.

Author Andrea Owen discusses her latest book Make Some Noise: Speak Your Mind and Own Your Strength. Andrea explains why we hold back in our lives and how to use the fire in our bellies to burn the whole damn “quiet” culture down. For too long, we have put the needs of others above our own.

On October 6th, I had the immense pleasure to speak with the author, accomplished educator, and personal empowerment mentor, Jill Krzyzanowicz about Transformed by Trauma: A Story of Growth & Healing.

Jill and I know each other from my 90 Day Coaching program, and I have always had such admiration for this woman. Jill describes how she overcame adversity in life from growing up in a chaotic house filled with violence, battling cancer, multiple weight-loss surgeries, and a newly sober lifestyle.

On October 20th, I discussed the power of The Law of Attraction - Part 1: What and How to Use It?

I’ve harnessed the Law of Attraction for the past 15 years, and my life has completely transformed. I was living paycheck to paycheck, working in a toxic environment, struggling in her marriage, and completely exhausted.
