How to Shape Your Habits to See Real Change
We can be totally honest with each other, right? Good. Because I need to drop a truth bomb on you:
There’s a reason you keep failing to reach your dreams and achieve your goals.
It’s because you don’t have a system!
I know, I know. You were taught to create a goal >>> set specific, actionable steps >>> voila, positive outcome achieved!
But there’s a problem with this old way of doing things. It RARELY works!
Goals are Great … But You Need More
Don’t get me wrong. Goals are great. In my work as a happiness and personal development coach, I teach a lot about having dreams, determining goals, and setting a direction. But goals without a system are almost always destined to fail.
Let me ask you: How many goals have you set for yourself in the past year? And exactly how many of those have you reached?
Does zero sound about right?
It doesn’t have to be that way. If you’ve had trouble changing your habits, the problem isn’t you. It’s your system. Those bad habits keep repeating themselves again and again (and again). But it’s not because you don’t want to change—it’s because you have the wrong system to make that change happen.
The truth: You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. Your habits are shaped by the systems in your life.
Change Your System, See Results
Your results have very little to do with your goals and action steps—and EVERYTHING to do with your systems. What’s the difference?
A goal is about the specific outcome or result you want. A system is the process that gets you those results.
If you want to lose weight, you need a system that involves creating more pleasure in your life, documenting your food intake in a journal, keeping healthy eating options in the fridge, and working with an accountability partner.
If you want to be an entrepreneur and build a million-dollar business, you need a system for hiring the right people to help you, marketing your product to the right audience, and testing ideas to create the right offers.
If you want to become a more positive person, you need a system that involves posting affirmations in your home and office spaces, setting reminders throughout the day to look for ways to shift toward positive, and curating a social group that has no time for negatives, like pettiness and shallowness.
You Deserve an Exceptional Life
I’ve spent 20 years investing in personal development programs, studying a gazillion self-improvement books, and doing my own inner work. And from that 20 years, I’ve created a system that I know works for women.
I don’t want you—or any woman—to have to wait 20 years to start living a life that is truly reflective of how you want to show up in the world. That’s why I created my RISE UP personal development program.
And this program I’ve created? It’s truly magical! It helps women learn to win at life, relationships, in their career, and in life.
My first group of RISE-ers has experienced tremendous growth, completely reset their beliefs, renewed their happiness practices, developed successful work/life balance, and so. Much. More!
My second group has only just started their journey, and O. M. G! The work they’re doing and the breakthroughs they’re already having are blowing my mind. The are like butterflies emerging from chrysalis—and they are ready to fly.
This just confirms the importance of having a system!
If you’re not committed to a system that works for you and gets results, you’re simply making excuses. If you’re not willing to invest in yourself, in your happiness, in your growth, in your dreams, you’re playing yourself.
If you’re not ready to do the real work that real change requires … well, your goals are going to stay goals that are never reached.
That’s unacceptable! You deserve to live an EXCEPTIONAL life. Not five months from now, not five years from now. You deserve a system that works for you TODAY!
(My RISE UP program is currently underway, but we’ll be reopening enrollment soon. Want to know if this is the system you’ve been looking for? Learn more here.)
